The Norstar SMDR (Station Message Detail Recording) serves as an interface that lets the user track basic call detail information either by all calls, outgoing calls only, calls with an account code, or by long distance calls.

Information such time call was made, from what extension, and duration of calls are examples of what the SMDR will offer.

The Norstar SMDR connects to any station port. A printer with a serial port is required in order print reports.
